I’m a 21 year old Scottish laddie, born and raised in fife, educated at The Univeristy of Manchester and currently living in London. I’m a Video Journalist for ‘What’s Hot London?’ but in my spare time I share my thoughts on all things slightly interesting. These topics vary, some are political, others are cultural, but they are all thought provoking, at least to me.
This site is called Delusions of Grandeur. Why you ask? It’s very simple. Having a blog allows me inflate my own sense of self worth, to continue living in the fanstay that my words matter and that people should listen. That although everything in the world has been said before, I might say it better and get the attention of those who missed it first time. Put simply, it makes me feel important.
Futhermore, I intend to challenge the idea of ‘common sense’, to expose some of the beliefs that permeate our political and cultural landscape which we seem to accept without question. To call them delusions may be a little harsh, but who can argue with a bit of emotive language?
